The mVisor visor is designed for maximum function and comfort, the material is hygienic and resistant to bumps and scratches.
CE-MARKED VISORS
Our visors are CE marked and made of certified PC (polycarbonate), PP (polypropylene) and PE (polyethylene). The visors are injection moulded in our own factory.
mVisor
Our mVisor visor provides comprehensive protection for the face without affecting visibility or mobility. The visor's shield is made of transparent polycarbonate that is exceptionally durable, allowing reuse after disinfection.
The design of the mVisor has been done in collaboration with healthcare professionals to provide adequate protection in case of exposure to drip infection, including the curved end of the screen. The transparent visor is very clear, anti-fog and shock and scratch resistant. The shield is lightweight, padded with foam for comfort and has adjustable straps for optimal fit and stability.
mShield
mShield is a Swedish company that designs, develops and manufactures high quality personal protective equipment for critical environments with high risk of infection. Our products are designed to meet the high protection and safety requirements of the healthcare industry and are used by healthcare professionals as well as other professionals who need to protect themselves from exposure to droplet contamination.
Our modern face protection visors have been very well received by the medical and elderly care sectors in Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark. We deliver to Region Skåne, among others. All our production takes place at our facility in Markaryd, Sweden. mShield's goal is to provide healthcare professionals with safe and comfortable visors that work well at work. We also sell visors to private individuals through retailers.
The idea behind mShield
Behind mShield are the two entrepreneurs Håkan Liljekvist and Peter Johnsson, who have extensive experience in the plastics industry. The driving force comes from their "gnosjö spirit" and from the huge need for personal protective equipment in healthcare during the Corona pandemic.
"This is something we have to take seriously. Healthcare workers need safe and comfortable protective equipment to work in," says Peter Johnsson, "It feels good to be able to contribute."
The duo have invested their own funds in the project and created their first product, the CE-marked mVisor7001 visor. Now the company is working on long-term development and plans to broaden its range of quality protection products.
"It's not just healthcare that needs protective equipment, we see a huge need in, for example, elderly care, public transport and many service professions. We also see a change in behaviour that will affect both supply and demand," says Håkan Liljekvist.
